Artists design GERMENS shirts

GERMENS is gaining more and more renowned artists who create a shirt as a wearable art work. Each creative person leaves his/her own handwriting and forms a shirt that suits one´s taste. This is how extraordinary shirts are made, but also art connoisseurs discover more and more that GERMENS-Shirt as a collector?s item.

It is an exciting task for the creative artists to design their own personal shirt, to get involved with the shapes deviating from the square and to be able to wear their creation as a noble, three-dimensional product for quite some time. The GERMENS customer benefits from an ever-growing selection of unique shirts.

The special feature of GERMENS-Shirts is the type of the fabric surfaces. The consistent linkage of art and shirt is a globally unique concept that reinterprets the typical, classic shirt. It is no longer just a fine piece of clothing, but also collectable edition of art with the potential to add value.

We distinguish between artwork (e.g., graphics, painting) and the surface pattern of the garment. Every artist and designer is required to engage in the three-dimensional object "shirt" and to direct creative work to it. This creates exciting new visualizations. The artist participates in the sale.

We invite artists from all over the world, and we are looking forward to the creative exchange.

Here's how it works

1. Artist contact Germens

Send us an eMail to info@germens.shop or use the contact form. Please provide us with some examples or a link to your website or to your Facebook or Instagram profile.

2. Germens sends the artist templates and a contract

After a few days, you will receive a package with paper templates that you can work on creatively. Preferably work on other materials, e.g. Canvas or cardboard, so you can use the paper templates as a template. In addition, you will receive a contract in duplicate.

3. The artist sends the painted templates back to Germens

Send the finished templates to GERMENS with DHL or another carrier with proof. Please sign a copy of the contract.

4. Germens digitizes the artist's drawings, produces the fabrics and makes the shirts

Your original artwork will be digitized and reproduced on fabric. The fabric production is very complicated and takes place in Germany. Then the shirts are made manually.

5. Germens sent the artist a shirt for free in his desired size

Each artist receives a shirt in his desired size sent for free. It may take up to 4 months between the template initialization and the finished product.

6. Germens involves the artist in shirt sales with 20 USD / shirt incl. VAT.

If a customer buys the shirt you design, you are entitled to one Artist participation of 20 $ including VAT. The payment is made once a year, preferably in December.
