With the GERMENS Try-On Service for men’s short-sleeve button-up shirts, you can find your correct size comfortably at home. This service is especially useful if you are ordering a GERMENS short-sleeve button-up shirt for the first time and want to make sure the fit is right. Since many GERMENS shirts are individually made, it is important to know your correct size before placing the actual order.

Please order only one size

Important: Please order only one size for the Try-On Service. You will automatically receive three try-on shirts: your selected size, one size smaller and one size larger.

For example, if you choose size L, we will send you sizes M, L and XL. You do not need to order three different sizes. This sometimes causes misunderstandings, but it is not necessary. Selecting one size is completely sufficient. For the edge sizes XS and 6XL, you will receive two try-on shirts, because there is no smaller or larger GERMENS size available.

It is only about the fit, not the design

The try-on shirts have a different design than the short-sleeve button-up shirts you may want to order later. This is intentional. The Try-On Service is only about finding your correct size and checking the basic fit. What matters is how the shirt fits at the shoulders, chest, waist, back, sleeves and hem.

All GERMENS short-sleeve button-up shirts have the same basic fit. Therefore, you usually only need to use the Try-On Service once. Once your size has been determined, you can order future GERMENS short-sleeve button-up shirts much more confidently.

All 10 sizes from XS to 6XL are available

The Try-On Service is available in all 10 GERMENS sizes from XS to 6XL. This allows you to compare exactly the sizes that may realistically fit you. It is especially helpful if you are between two sizes or if you are not yet familiar with the GERMENS fit.

Also available for long-sleeve button-up shirts and men’s T-shirts

Return within 7 days

Please try the shirts on calmly at home and return the try-on shirts to us within 7 days. Shipping to you and return shipping are free of charge. This makes the Try-On Service comfortable, safe and usually much cheaper than travelling a long distance to one of our stores.

Of course, you are always very welcome to visit us in person. With the Try-On Service, we simply want to make it as easy as possible for you to find your correct size at home.

50 Euro loan fee – refunded or credited

The 50 Euro are only a loan fee for the try-on shirts. As soon as the try-on shirts have arrived back with us, this amount will be refunded. If you then order a GERMENS shirt, the 50 Euro can also be credited toward your order.

Alterations are possible after purchase

If the shirt generally fits but certain details should be optimized, we offer alterations after purchase. These include shortening sleeves, reducing or widening the waist, adding back darts or shortening the hem. You can find more information in our alteration service.

Recommendation for men taller than 190 cm

If you are taller than 190 cm, we recommend our shirts with an extended hem length of 7 cm. You can select this option when placing your later order or mention it separately. This gives the shirt a better fit for taller body proportions and makes it more comfortable to wear.
