Writing Pad/Notepad “Historic Miners’ Parade – Saturn Festival 1719”
In 1719, the “Saturn Festival” celebrated the marriage of Crown Prince August (son of Augustus the Strong) to Maria Josepha of Austria in the Plauenscher Grund near Dresden. A detail from the historic illustration adorns this notepad—mining heritage meets Saxon history.
The DIN A5 landscape pad offers 50 sheets with a 5 mm grid—perfect for sketches, measurements, to-dos, and minutes. Top-glued with a rigid backing board, it stays stable on the go; the paper is smooth and easy to write on.
Historical note
The famed “miners’ parade” was shown on 26 September 1719 in Dresden. An extraordinary 38.40 m leporello preserved at the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology documents this spectacle.
