The design was created by Gregor-T. Kozik, the Chemnitz-based painter and graphic artist who was one of the founding members of the Clara Mosch artist group and also co-founded GERMENS artfashion. His work is described through a distinctive visual language that combines traditional and experimental approaches. In GREENTRAIN, this artistic attitude becomes wearable: the image does not sit on the shirt as decoration; it is built into the garment.

The buttons are sewn on with a shank, which improves durability and handling. The Kent collar is supported by stainless steel collar stays, giving it shape and firmness. The GERMENS collar notch, angled cuffs, robust buttons and precise seams add to the tailored impression. GREENTRAIN is available from XS to 6XL, making it suitable for a wide range of body types, including larger sizes. New customers can reduce uncertainty by using the home try-on service. Several sizes can be tried on comfortably at home; the service itself is free, with only a small deposit that is refunded or credited. After purchase, the alteration service can adjust sleeve length, waist, back darts or hem length if the shirt needs a more personal fit.

For long-lasting quality, follow the textile care instructions: wash at 30 degrees, use color detergent without bleach, add a small amount of fabric softener if desired, avoid tumble drying and iron hot or use an ironing dummy. GERMENS produces sustainably and avoids overproduction, often manufacturing individually rather than in mass quantities. This takes more effort, but it protects the value of the concept. GERMENS only uses its own designs, which are only available here. For each garment – in every size from XS to 6XL – the pattern pieces are printed individually and accurately on high-quality cotton fabric.

The fabric is then finished so that the colors remain permanently brilliant, the fabric is washable, suitable for everyday use and comfortable to wear – without any unpleasant odors.

GERMENS only produces what has actually been ordered. This is very sustainable and ensures lasting value. After printing, the fabrics are cut – traditionally by hand. The skilled worker is visually guided by the design and cuts each piece individually. The result is a perfect fit in which art and cut interact perfectly.

After cutting, the many individual pieces are sewn together in a Polish family business with great care and many years of experience. High-quality finishing details – such as finely stitched edges or buttons with handles – and fine fabrics guarantee that every GERMENS garment will give you long-lasting pleasure.
