This idea has been sharpened and carried into the new description: COBRA is not loud for the sake of being loud. It is focused, controlled and magnetic. It suggests danger without theatricality and elegance without restraint. When someone asks about this shirt, the wearer can speak about silence, instinct and the visual force of a creature that fascinates before it strikes.

The Button-up Shirt Long Sleeve COBRA is built around a powerful contrast of black and white. Large black gestures spread across the light cotton surface like ink, shadow and movement. The design does not behave like a conventional print. It feels drawn, cut, thrown and caught in motion. Red accents inside the collar and in small details add heat and tension, while blue patterned elements at the cuffs and inner collar create a refined secondary flash when the shirt is worn open or with turned-back cuffs.

The artwork was created by Gregor-T. Kozik, described in the GERMENS artist category as a German painter and graphic artist with a distinctive visual language combining traditional and experimental techniques. Not standard all-over fabric, but artwork placed by size

GERMENS does not produce this long sleeve shirt from simple repeat fabric. The design is not merely enlarged or reduced for different sizes, and it is not an arbitrary all-over pattern. For each size from XS to 6XL, the print data are prepared individually. The motif is adapted to the proportions of the respective size and then placed precisely across the 21 separate pattern pieces of the shirt. Only after printing is the cotton fabric carefully cut by hand.

This process gives the Button-up Shirt Long Sleeve COBRA a coherent visual structure in every size. A smaller size does not look compressed, and a larger size does not look like a stretched pattern. Front, back, sleeves, collar and cuffs interact as one composition. The result is a men's button down shirt that looks intentional from every angle, a wearable artwork rather than a typical patterned long sleeve shirt.

100% cotton made for comfort and daily wear

The Button-up Shirt Long Sleeve COBRA is made from 100% cotton. The cotton fabric is produced in Saxony and offers the qualities expected from a refined natural material: it is skin-friendly, breathable, comfortable, odor-neutral and durable. It can be worn in everyday life, at creative business meetings, dinners, gallery visits, events or while travelling. As a cotton shirt for men, it combines visual presence with a pleasant feel on the skin.

Its construction includes the characteristic GERMENS collar notch, angled cuffs, sturdy buttons sewn with a stem, a Kent collar with removable stainless steel collar stays and very tight stitching along the edges. These details give the shirt shape, stability and longevity. They also make the shirt feel cultivated rather than costume-like. COBRA is bold, but it remains wearable, precise and composed.

Fit, try-on service and alterations

The Button-up Shirt Long Sleeve COBRA is available in sizes XS to 6XL. New customers should use the try-on service before ordering. The service is free; only a small deposit is required, which is refunded or credited. This allows customers to test the right size comfortably at home and reduces uncertainty before choosing a limited artist shirt.

After purchase, the alteration service can refine the fit. Sleeves can be shortened, the waist can be adjusted, back darts can be added and the hem can be shortened. This makes the shirt easier to buy online and more personal to wear, especially for customers looking for a distinctive long sleeve shirt with a confident fit.

Care, limitation and production

For care, wash the shirt at 30 degrees with color detergent without bleach. A little fabric softener is possible. Do not tumble dry. Hot ironing or using a shirt finisher will restore the shape. More detailed instructions are available in the care guide.

The Button-up Shirt Long Sleeve COBRA is limited to 99 pieces. Sizes that are not immediately available are produced individually, which can take several weeks. In return, the customer receives a sustainable cotton shirt made without overproduction and with a design concept that is rare in fashion: artist-made imagery, size-specific printing, hand cutting and a finished shirt that regularly starts conversations.

GERMENS only uses its own designs, which are only available here. For each garment – in every size from XS to 6XL – the pattern pieces are printed individually and accurately on high-quality cotton fabric.

The fabric is then finished so that the colors remain permanently brilliant, the fabric is washable, suitable for everyday use and comfortable to wear – without any unpleasant odors.

GERMENS only produces what has actually been ordered. This is very sustainable and ensures lasting value. After printing, the fabrics are cut – traditionally by hand. The skilled worker is visually guided by the design and cuts each piece individually. The result is a perfect fit in which art and cut interact perfectly.

After cutting, the many individual pieces are sewn together in a Polish family business with great care and many years of experience.
