GERMENS artist KAY LEO LEONHARDT from Dresden/Germany.
Kay ‘Leo’ Leonhardt is an artist from Meissen/Dresden who has made a name for himself primarily through his life-affirming, colourful illustrations with cheerful bird motifs. However, these are not classic depictions of birds, but cheerful, dynamic scenes that radiate an infectious zest for life.
His motifs play with shapes, colours and a twinkle in the eye, which comes to the fore in both large-format murals and smaller illustrations. The ‘birds’ symbolise optimism and lightness, which makes Kay Leonhardt's signature unmistakable.
